RGS is celebrating another year of excellent GCSE results. We had a significant boost to 72% Grades 9-7 in 2018 and it has turned out not to be a ‘flash in the pan’ but has been repeated this year with the same figure.

As ever, there have been some stellar performances with a number of boys attaining nine or ten grade 9s.

Headmaster, Philip Wayne, said of the results: "We are very proud of the achievements of all our boys who have performed well across the range of subjects. These results are a testament to the commitment of boys to their academic performance and to their teachers for their guidance and support. We’re not all about results here and encourage participation in wider activities but GCSEs remain, for better or for worse, the foundation of future success and all augurs well for our students as they, and we, look to the future."
