It is almost a year since we first postponed the 2020 Sportsman’s Dinner. Although there is now light at the end of the tunnel with the vaccine rollout, it is clear that we will not get there by the end of March and so we are now planning to hold the 2021 Sportsman’s Dinner on Thursday 16 September 2021. David Flatman will still be the MC and Wayne Barnes will still be the guest speaker so we hope that we will finally get the evening we have been planning for since this time last year.
Many institutions, including the School, have already taken steps to reduce gatherings of large numbers of people and ever changing professional advice is that the Coronavirus situation makes it difficult to plan for an event this year.
We hope that, by acting early, we reduce the inconvenience to our supporters - sponsors, attendees and suppliers.
